About Me

Casey Isabelle (she/they) is a multi-disciplined artist from South Kingstown. Her works include home goods large and small, abstract paintings, amateur photography, and quilts. A lifelong artist in various forms, she's been working as the sole artist of her brand, Sea What Belle Makes, since its inception in 2020.
I started Sea What Belle Makes amidst the quarantine panic of 2020. I taught myself to crochet, making Ear Savers to benefit my essential friends and raise money for friends who had lost their livelihood and couldn't pay rent. The base notion of finding order among chaos is a through line in all of my art. I've always had a wildly creative streak, over the years before my brand it took many forms including time spent in college for theatrical design and stage management and a job as a professional sign artist for Trader Joe's. Whether it's wrangling yarn, fabric, paint, or my thousand photos of neat rocks, I'm always looking for the beauty in something that's not initially apparent. I truly believe that your art reflects you as a person and within all of mine you'll see rainbows of color as rich as the emotions that drive my creations.
